For more than thirty years I have been deeply interested in health and nutrition. My work and lifestyle includes the following experiences:
  • Owned and operated a nutrition center beginning at age 18

  • Operated 14 retail outlets for Great Earth Vitamins

  • Exercised regularly since I was 16 years old

  • Nurtured my soul through meditation and travel

  • Gained extensive education through numerous courses and workshops

  • Followed a personal path of nutrition that continues to grow and change

  • Certified Massage Therapist for 18 years

  • Taught massage at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy for 5 years

  • A provider of workshops through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

In June of 2008 I completed training as a Health Counselor at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. This 10-month program encompassed nutrition/dietary theories from the traditional to the scientific, east to west, from ancient to modern. IIN considers health to include physical activity, relationships, career, and spiritual practices as well as nutrition. Renowned figures such as Mehmet Oz and Deepak Chopra are among dozens of prominent IIN educators.

To assist, educate, and empower individuals in terms of their health, including diet, exercise, work, relationship, and alternative medical choices. Philosophy

I believe that being healthy means that we live life to the fullest. We do this by:

  • Eating nutrient-rich foods grown to the highest standards

  • Exercising vigorously within the range of ones ability

  • Engaging in meaningful and creative works

  • Enjoying enriching relationships with friends and family

  • Cultivating spiritual life and harvesting its many benefits

  • Making conscious guilt-free choices that achieve moderation and balance

  • Finding joy in everything and everyone in one's life
